After a twelve-year absence, Baiyin Baolige (played by Tengger) returns to the grassland, driven by the melody of "Black Stallion," which has been passed down for years. He seeks to find his grandmother, who raised him, and his childhood sweetheart, Sumiya (played by Narenhua)... Orphaned as a child, Baiyin Baolige was adopted by his kind-hearted grandmother. He and his grandmother's granddaughter, Sumiya, began a nomadic life that followed the seasons. As Baiyin Baolige grew into a teenager, a little colt named Gangyahala - Black Stallion, fortuitously arrived at their yurt, accompanying him as he matured.
