Adapted from Shigeo Komatsu's novel "Flea Catching Samurai," the story features a samurai played by Hiroshi Abe, who is exiled for offending a feudal lord, masquerading as a "flea exterminator" while actually selling "meat" to female customers as an "erotic samurai." His first customer, Kome (played by Shinobu Terajima), resembles his deceased wife, but within minutes, she criticizes his poor skills in bed, prompting him to commit to mastering the art of lovemaking. Etsuji Toyokawa plays the strict husband Seiichi, who teaches the protagonist how to please women, while Atsuko Maeda plays Seiichi's wife. Takumi Saito portrays Saeki Tomoyuki, a poor private tutor who teaches for free, living next door to Hiroshi Abe's character.
