"Mushi" is neither an animal nor a microbe, but a ubiquitous force in nature, possessing unique life forms that occasionally intersect with human existence, giving rise to wondrous stories. However, even when people become aware of the existence of "mushi," they often do not know how to respond, and that is when a "Mushi Master" is needed. Ginko is a Mushi Master, with silver hair and still young in age, yet he has traveled for half his life, journeying through mountains and villages to resolve people's issues with "mushi." Through his encounters with those troubled by mushi, he also comes closer to many stories. Ginko's travels are like the wind; no matter how shocking the "mushi," they seem to dissolve among the ink-wash mountains, and all living beings are but fleeting moments, with no sadness in the subtle stories, only tranquility.
