On a calm and sunny day, Luffy (voiced by Mayumi Tanaka) suddenly lets out a heart-wrenching cry over the ocean, as his most treasured straw hat has mysteriously vanished while he was sleeping. Realizing the significance of the straw hat, the members of the Straw Hat Pirates join forces to help him search for it. Along the way, Chopper and others rescue a dying old pirate (voiced by Tomofumi Yamaguchi). Soon, they discover a strange vulture circling in the sky with Luffy's straw hat in its beak, leading to a major chase from the skies to the sea. Meanwhile, the Navy is also gathering its strongest forces to capture the Straw Hat Pirates. A war unseen before, sparked by a straw hat, is about to unfold... This film is the 11th theatrical version of "One Piece," based on the original work by Eiichiro Oda, and is the first to be made in 3D, released alongside the 3D version of "Delicious Hunter."
