In their early years, the parents of young Tian Jin made countless sacrifices to bring Western medicine to Tibet. Unable to adapt to life on the plateau, Tian Jin's mother returned to the mainland with her infant son, while his father, Lhagpa, continued his career on the plateau. Years later, after the mother passed away, the孤儿 Tian Jin came to the plateau to find his father, carrying a deep resentment in his heart. Lhagpa was busy practicing medicine all day, allowing his son to learn shepherding on his own. One day, Tian Jin was threatened by a bear, but fortunately, a golden Tibetan mastiff came to his rescue, and through various circumstances, he became the closest friend of the mastiff named Dorgi. Meanwhile, a demon appeared on the grassland, specifically harming living beings, completely disrupting the peaceful life of the herdsmen... This film is adapted from Yang Zhijun's novel "Tibetan Mastiff" and is a joint production between China and Japan. The famous Japanese manga artist Naoki Urasawa also served as the character designer and director.
