Rin Oikawa (voiced by Nana Mizuki) has a mother who is a famous ballet dancer. Her mother’s graceful figure is deeply etched in Rin's memory, and she begins to strive to become a ballet dancer just like her mother. However, a massive earthquake takes her mother’s life, and afterward, Rin is unable to dance ballet due to an injury, forcing her to give up on her dream. Rin enrolls in Musashino Art University and becomes a freshman on campus. One day, she accidentally finds herself in front of the "Rideback Club" door. Upon opening it, she meets a man named Haruki Hishida (voiced by Yuuji Ueda) and sees a “Rideback.” In that moment, Rin's fate is changed. The mature and steady Kiefer (voiced by Tomokazu Seki) and the lively and carefree Tamayo Kataoka (voiced by Rumi Okubo) appear one after another by Rin's side; they are also Rideback riders, sharing a pure yearning for freedom.
