Feeling guilty, he immediately sends someone to fetch Xiuxiu’s family and starts raising funds for her treatment. A local TV station interrupts normal programming to broadcast the news of Xiuxiu's injury, prompting the entire island city to take action, and a long line of people waiting to donate blood forms outside the hospital.
