The Decepticon advance team, Barricade and Scorponok, attacked the U.S. military base in Qatar. Meanwhile, Barricade helped his partner Frenzy infiltrate Air Force One, discovering through a computer that to find Megatron, they must locate the glasses of the Witwicky family, which contain information scans about the AllSpark, and its current owner, Sam Witwicky (played by Shia LaBeouf), has become a target of the Decepticons. Sam is a high school student, and no one at school believes his story about the glasses' history. In disappointment, he puts the glasses up for auction online, but it fails to attract any buyers. At this moment, his father gifts him an old car, which turns out to be the Autobot Bumblebee in disguise.
