Qi Ling (Chen Xuedong) was an ordinary boy from a small town in the Odin continent until one day he met the Second Apostle, Shen Yin (Yang Mi), and encountered the legendary divine beast, thus beginning a new destiny. The Odin continent is divided into four nations, each with powerful soul masters, with the strongest being called the Marquis, and the heirs of the Marquis referred to as Apostles. Qi Ling is found by the Seventh Marquis, Yin Chen (Kris Wu), and becomes his Apostle. Under Yin Chen's guidance, Qi Ling begins his training and meets the willful Sixth Apostle, Tian Shu You Hua (Lin Yun), the mission-bearing Fifth Apostle, Gui Shan Lian Quan (Fan Bingbing), the charming Second Marquis, You Ming (Chen Weiting), and the Fourth Marquis, Te Lei Ya (Amber Kuo). The appearance of the pale boy (Wang Yuan) brings to light the secret of the disappearance of the previous First Marquis, Gilgamesh, and everyone begins a violent pursuit of the truth. Amidst the conflicts, Apostles and Marquises, represented by Gui Shan Lian Quan and Gui Shan Feng Hun (Yan Yikuan), are caught in a hunt, while Yin Chen is solely focused on tracing Gilgamesh's whereabouts.
