The evil Black Dragon is sealed deep within the unfathomable Tianyin Lake, and every five hundred years, a Phoenix Ceremony is held to reinforce the seal using the cry of the phoenix. As the five-hundred-year mark arrives, an unexpected incident occurs during the ceremony— the phoenix hatches unsuccessfully, allowing the Black Dragon to break free and return to the human world, plunging the world into chaos and suffering. To seal the Black Dragon once again, one must go to Tianyin Valley to find seven powerful artifacts that, when played together, can catalyze the phoenix egg. Unfortunately, Rainbow Cat (voiced by Xie Na) is asleep at the bottom of Tianyin Lake. In desperation, Blue Rabbit (voiced by Yuan Huimin) sets off alone with Master Tianyin (voiced by Zhang Huaiwu) on a journey to search for the artifacts. Along the way, they encounter the magician Xiao Li (voiced by Xie Na), who inadvertently reveals incredible abilities and becomes an indispensable part of their mission.
