This story takes place in early 1945, when a transport plane carrying the latest cipher machine and key book is en route to Japan. In a northern province of our country, the commander of the Independent Third Regiment, Liu Jianggong (played by Wang Xin), is leading his regiment in a life-and-death struggle against the Japanese forces entrenched in the city of Tuancheng, particularly in the area of Fox Tooth Ridge.
