In this adaptation of Yuuki Masami's manga, Kamiyama plays the role of the vampire detective, Yukimura Kai (雪村魁), who appears 18 years old but is actually 88. With a constitution of "Okina," which grants him immortality, Kai teams up with the new Ministry of Health employee, Fusegi Akari (伏木あかり), to pursue the perpetrator behind a series of murders known as the "Sheep Killer," which has occurred every Christmas for 70 years.
