This film is adapted from the novel "The Docks of Ustream" by Florence Aubenas. Binoche plays a well-known writer who wants to write a book about the feeling of unease in the workplace by experiencing it herself. After going through this trial, she forms true friendships with some unfortunate companions, leading to warm and joyous relationships.
