The Divine Water Palace is a legend in the martial world; it never participates in conflicts and no one knows where its true location lies. Recently, major leaders of martial arts factions have been dying one after another after being poisoned by the divine water from the palace. The charming Chu Liuxiang (played by Di Long) is mistakenly regarded as an accomplice of the Divine Water Palace and is scorned by others. In order to clear his name, Chu Liuxiang decides to investigate the truth of the events with Li Hongxiu and others. After some setbacks, he finally infiltrates the Divine Water Palace, only to find it is indeed a peaceful place. It turns out that all the murders are committed by his old friend, the Monk Wuhua. However, when Chu Liuxiang attempts to leave the Divine Water Palace to reveal the truth, he is met with refusal from the palace’s master, who wants to keep a secret about her illegitimate daughter hidden.
