The Wanderer (played by Jiang David) is chivalrous and righteous, often helping the weak and embodying the spirit of a wandering hero. One day, the Wanderer saves Jiang Ling (played by Li Lili), the sister of the head of the Weisheng Escort Agency. Jiang Ling informs the Wanderer that her brother Jiang Wei (played by Zheng Lei) is on the road escorting a valuable treasure. The underworld expert Kong Wu (played by Zhang Peishan) certainly won't let this golden opportunity slip away, and he is eager to make his move. He and the Wanderer encounter each other by chance, and after a contest, they find their martial arts skills to be evenly matched. Kong Wu conceals his true identity and intentions, deceiving the Wanderer into thinking he is engaged in a grand scheme to rob the rich and help the poor, inviting the Wanderer to join him. Slowly, the righteous Wanderer agrees. After the heist, the Wanderer realizes he has been tricked by Kong Wu and used as a pawn. Now, the only way to protect his reputation is to retrieve the stolen treasure.
