In the 1940s, on Qinglong Mountain in Central China, the traditional hunters who lived there welcomed the competition for the new hunting king. Meanwhile, the Eighth Route Army was engaged in battle with the Japanese army below the mountain, and Kong Mei, who had a secret mission, fled into Qinglong Mountain. In an attempt to help Kong Mei, Wang Cuilan's grandmother was captured by the searching Japanese troops.
