In an attempt to undermine the harmonious unity between the Communist Party's People's Liberation Army and the local tribal leaders and border residents, the Nationalist Party's intelligence officer Bai Tingshuang disguised himself as a soldier from the PLA to kill the Hani chieftain Puli's servant who was sent to pick up his daughter Reduo, infiltrating the horse caravan.
