The film is based on a true story. Once, Won-gwang (played by Park Hee-soon) was a prominent soccer player, but a failed investment led to a downturn in his life. In despair, Won-gwang traveled to East Timor, hoping to open a café and make a fortune to heal his wounded heart. However, lacking business acumen, he faced failure again, leaving him to wonder if he would return home empty-handed and disheartened. Before his departure, Won-gwang discovered a group of local children playing soccer barefoot, which sparked a new business opportunity for him, leading to the establishment of a soccer supply store. Despite using an installment payment model, the children still couldn't afford to buy soccer shoes, and Won-gwang's store faced closure once more. This time, however, the children's enthusiasm and love for soccer moved Won-gwang, and he decided to form a youth soccer team to take on international competitions.
