Naruto (voiced by Junko Takeuchi), Sakura (voiced by Chika Nakamura), and Shikamaru venture into the deep mountains to find a lost weasel. On their way back, they are ambushed by a fully armed knight's regiment. In the fierce confrontation, Naruto and the white-armored leader Temujin fall off a cliff together and are rescued by a passing merchant caravan. Along the way, the two opponents slowly begin to understand each other and learn that Temujin wants to establish a utopia free from war and disaster, and Naruto's extraordinary power is exactly what they need. Meanwhile, Shikamaru and Sakura witness a giant fortress surrounded by armored samurai. Shikamaru sneaks in to scout and sees a group of children imprisoned in containers and hears discussions about the legacy of Jirou. What is the connection between this and Temujin? This film is the second theatrical animation of "Naruto."
