The story unfolds around the unfortunate encounters of Xi Lin (played by Liu Yi Ling), a perfect girl. As a professional dancer, she finally secures the most important performance opportunity of her life, but a water accident leaves her paralyzed from the waist down, destroying her life. Xi Lin's dreams come to an abrupt halt, and her world shatters into pieces, with her originally happy family collapsing as well. Xi Lin's situation takes her parents and younger brother by surprise; while they are heartbroken, they must also make sacrifices to provide her with the best care. The family revolves around Xi Lin's life, but this causes rifts among them as they endure immense pressure.
