Julieta (played by Adriana Ugarte) meets Suan (played by Dani Grao) on a speeding train, and they fall in love, get married, and have a lovely daughter, Antia (played by Blanca Parés), living happily as a family of three. One day, Julieta and Suan have a disagreement, and in a fit of anger, Suan sets sail, only to perish in a storm. In despair, Julieta falls into depression. As years pass, Antia and her friend Bia (played by Michelle Jenner) take care of the emotionally distant Julieta. Although Julieta's condition gradually improves, her attachment and dependence on her daughter deepens. On her eighteenth birthday, Antia disappears without a word, leaving Julieta frantically searching for any traces of her daughter amidst her anger, grievance, and fear, but it proves to be in vain.
