A wildly eccentric and bizarre Jim Carrey — in 1999, he played his idol, comedy master Andy Kaufman, in "Man on the Moon." Some behind-the-scenes videos from the making of this film (many shot by Kaufman's ex-girlfriend Lynne Margulies) have only now come to light through this documentary; it turns out Universal didn't want the footage to surface because Carrey said, "I look like a complete jerk" — he had deeply immersed himself in the "method acting" realm while filming and remained in Kaufman's crazy state even off set. But what was he really thinking in his heart, and could he still find "who am I"?
