28-year-old Asuka Sakurada (played by Yuki Uchida) works as a freelance writer. One day she wakes up to find herself lying in a bed in a white room. It turns out she is in the isolation ward of a mental hospital, which only accepts female patients. Asuka feels she has lost her memory and has no idea how she ended up here. With a deadline approaching, she cannot leave the hospital without the permission of the staff and her boyfriend, Tetsuo (played by Kankuro Nakamura). She has no choice but to continue living in this place. She meets Miki (played by Yu Aoi), who suffers from anorexia, and Nishino (played by Shinobu Otake), who has bulimia. Although she initially finds them strange, Asuka becomes friends with them. Tetsuo sends someone to visit Asuka, and she becomes overwhelmed, resulting in a rash.
