The people of the underwater kingdom, dissatisfied with human nuclear weapon tests interfering with them, send Megalon to destroy the surface world and control the artificial robot Jet Jaguar. However, humanity ultimately regains control of Jet Jaguar and notifies Godzilla to eliminate the monster. Unexpectedly, the underwater people contact aliens, who send Gigan, leading to a two-on-two monster battle. The film, released in 1973, is the 13th installment of the Godzilla series, with approximately 980,000 viewers. The original plot concept came from a children's essay contest held by the film company. Initially, it was intended to make a non-Godzilla film focusing on Jet Jaguar, but later Toho deemed Jet Jaguar insufficient to support box office success and decided to turn it into a Godzilla movie. The entire filming process took only two weeks, and due to a limited budget, there are very few main characters, making it the only film in the series without female characters.
