The story takes place in the Roman Empire in the year 300 AD, where a great fire consumed the palace of King Diocletian (played by Robert Medley), resulting in significant losses. Captain of the guards, Sebastian (played by Leonardo Treviglio), who was once the king's most favored man, becomes the scapegoat for this tragedy. To punish him, the king is forced to exile him into the vast desert. A group of six soldiers, including Justin (played by Richard Warwick), Adrian (played by Ken Hicks), and Marius (played by Steffano Massari), is tasked with guarding Sebastian; however, this is not an easy job for them. The group walks through the endless desert, where during the day, they practice combat to pass the time, and as night falls, a strange atmosphere slowly emerges.
