Through the occasionally shaky images from the camera, Étienne's inarticulate feelings emerge—towards his friend Ludo, his geography teacher, and his figure skating teammates. These feelings are hazy yet constantly linger in his heart. He dares not face them directly with his own eyes but can only capture those people, those expressions, and those emotions through the lens... The story begins with Étienne, a French boy who receives a mini camcorder for his birthday, and he documents his life and others' lives daily. This film comes from the hands of the two directors who previously made “Chocolate Boy.” In this work, the directors make bold attempts using the protagonist's first-person perspective and provide the audience with a wealth of fragmented imagery, allowing them to decipher and summarize, delving into a gay boy's inner world, with a plot that is innocent and interesting. I am once again touched by the romantic and subtle filming style of French cinema; there are no grand vows or life-and-death separations, just a narrative of life experiences that is so captivating, inviting people to accompany the handsome young protagonist on a journey of love!
