In a secluded dense forest lies the completely isolated town of New Bethlehem. Eighteen years ago, on the sixth day of the sixth month, six girls were born, fulfilling an age-old prophecy associated with New Bethlehem. It is said that when the number "666" appears, the devil will emerge from the darkness, using its foul and evil hand to corrupt this land of light and poison the pure and innocent girls. Fast forward to the present day, the girls born at that time, except for little Rose, who was strangled by her mother, were raised under the guardianship of the elders, including Sarah (Leah Pipes), Abigail (Katie Garfield), Mary (Alycia Debnam Carey), Hannah (Nicole Elliott), among others.
