Once a professional photographer, Su Dong (played by Fang Zhongxin) returns home from an overseas shooting assignment battered and exhausted. After returning to China, he travels alone to Yunnan to relax, where he meets the beautiful flight attendant Gu Ting (played by Li Xiaoran). The journey taken by these two lonely souls inevitably ignites the flames of love, however, a sudden fire interrupts everything, seemingly signaling their troubled emotional exchange. Back in Beijing, Gu Ting witnesses Su Dong greeting his girlfriend at the station, feeling deceived, while the long-standing conflict with her mother also drives her to seek a new life.
