During the reign of the third shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu, the country enjoyed peace and prosperity. Legends circulated about three divine artifacts: the Sword of the Emperor, the Combat God’s Unique Mallet, and Judas’s Cross, all forged from cosmic metal, granting their bearers the power to conquer the world. The samurai Wan Yuanjiu Lang (played by Hiroshi Abe) is the bearer of the Sword of the Emperor. Following his father's dying wish, he embarks on a journey to find the artifacts and return them to their "original rightful places." Along the way, he encounters Ko Mai (played by Kyoko Hasegawa), a descendant of the Toyotomi clan, and her bodyguard, the Sanada ninja Sasuke (played by Kankuro Nakamura). They face numerous dangers while continuously evading the shogunate's pursuit. On the other side, the space invaders Lan (played by Kyoko Hasegawa) and Botan (played by Meisa Kuroki) are also coveting the artifacts in Wan Yuanjiu Lang's possession. With a stream of enemies harboring hidden agendas, Wan Yuanjiu Lang has no choice but to carve a bloody path using the Sword of the Emperor... This film is adapted from the epic novel by Baku Yumemakura.
