A young man named Amin, who lives in Paris and is passionate about cinema, gave up studying medicine and returned to his hometown in southern France for vacation. He was born into an Arab family that runs a Tunisian restaurant. He and his cousin Tony spend their days wandering around their restaurant, nearby bars, and the beach at the edge of town, enjoying the lovely summer. They meet two girls from Nice, Charlotte and Celine. Local and visiting girls throw themselves at the two cousins; Tony indulges in the attention, but Amin secretly loves his long-time friend Ophélie, who is about to get married. Ophélie's fiancé works at an airport in Paris, and their relationship is lukewarm. However, when Amin returns home, he catches Ophélie in an affair with his cousin Tony.
