Jack (played by Ivo Pietzcker) lives a dependent life with his brother and mother. Jack's mother is an extremely irresponsible woman; after finishing work during the day, she disguises herself to go out for fun, leaving all the responsibility for taking care of her brother to Jack alone. Jack has a strong animosity towards his mother's constantly changing boyfriends, resulting in a very fragile relationship between mother and son. One day, Jack's brother suffers a burn, and social welfare authorities compel the mother to send one of the children to a welfare institution, and the mother chooses Jack. In the welfare institution, Jack misses and worries about his mother and brother day and night. Finally, after successfully escaping, he returns home, only to find that his mother has vanished, leaving his brother behind. With his brother, Jack embarks on a perilous and unknown journey to find their mother.
