Michizawa Kuniya (played by Takashi Abe) and Satoko (played by Takako Matsu) are an ordinary couple who make a living through their craftsmanship and hard work. They run a small restaurant and have won the hearts of both new and regular customers with their excellent culinary skills and attentive service, leading a prosperous life. However, a devastating fire turns their ten years of hard work to ashes. Overwhelmed by the blow, Kuniya falls into despair, drinking heavily and even having one-night stands with other women. As the saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention; Satoko receives an unexpected inspiration and instructs her husband to "seduce" emotionally empty women to scam money for reopening their small shop. After that, various women, including an office lady (played by Rina Tanaka), a prostitute, a single mother (played by Taeko Kimura), and a weightlifter, fall into the traps set by the Michizawa couple. They sell dreams to these women, while also losing themselves in the process... This film won Best Director, Best Actress (Takako Matsu), and Best Supporting Actress (Tamae Ando) at the 27th Takasaki Film Festival in 2013.
