Babloo (played by Shahrukh Khan) is a childish yet ambitious young man with three life goals: to make his mother happy, to become the best chef in the world, and the third goal is a mystery. However, his mother, who he is very close to, wishes for him to uphold the family tradition and become a glorious wrestler. By chance, he lands his dream job as the head chef at a five-star hotel and meets his beautiful boss Sonia (played by Juhi Chawla), with whom he develops feelings, making life seem beautiful before him. On the other hand, Manu (played by Shahrukh Khan) is a ruthless gangster who, due to betrayal by his associates, ends up in prison. However, he manages to escape from prison and starts a crazy revenge plan against his betrayers. He has a close confidante named Lily (played by Sonali Bendre), who helps him out of trouble whenever he is in a bind. The lives of these two characters have no intersection, but due to their striking resemblance, a series of humorous situations unfold.
