Once a girl full of fantasies, Tsukimi Kurashita has always hoped to become a beautiful princess, just as her mother said. Unfortunately, she (Rena Nounen) now dresses like a typical otaku, making it impossible for her to fit into the current fashion society. Still maintaining her love for jellyfish, Tsukimi leaves Kagoshima and moves into an old apartment in Tokyo called "Amamizukan." Like attracts like, as several other otaku girls live there: the collector of rare items, Chihoko (Azusa Babazono), the railway enthusiast, Bamba (Chizuru Ikewaki), the Three Kingdoms fanatic, Maya (Rina Ohta), the middle-aged man admirer, Yajiko (Tomohiro Shinohara), and a reclusive mysterious BL manga artist, Juon Mejiro. By chance, Tsukimi brings a beautiful girl home, only to find out that she is actually a boy, Kuronosuke Koibuchi (Masaki Suda), who loves cross-dressing. Kuronosuke’s arrival brings unprecedented changes to the otaku girls’ world, while their beloved "Amamizukan" faces the risk of disappearing...
This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Akiko Higashimura.
