Johnny Blaze (played by Nicolas Cage) is a top motorcycle stuntman. When he discovers that his father is suffering from cancer, he makes a deal with the demon Mephistopheles. He becomes the Ghost Rider, serving the demon. Obeying the demon's every command, Johnny is a dazzling star by day; at night, clad in leather with his body transformed into a skeleton and wearing a spiked battle outfit, he rides his motorcycle to hunt down the most wicked criminals for the demon.
