When Saigon falls, Vietnam is thrown into turmoil. Colonel Barok (Chuck Norris) has a Vietnamese wife, Lin, who misses the evacuation and is mistakenly believed by Barok to have been killed in an explosion, leaving him to return to America heartbroken. Twelve years later, a pastor from Vietnam tells him that Lin and their son are alive but living in poverty, prompting him to decide to go to Vietnam alone to rescue his wife and child.
