Fang Gang (played by Lu Bin), Xiao Fo (played by Jiang Jian), and Shen Jinming (played by Wang Jie) are three new juvenile delinquents at a juvenile detention center. Fang Gang harms others with a knife, unchanged by his nature; Xiao Fo engages in petty theft and causes trouble; only Shen Jinming is wholeheartedly trying to reform himself. In an accident, Fang Gang falsely claims he swallowed scissors in an attempt to find an opportunity to escape. However, when he sees how Captain Feng goes to great lengths to save him, Fang Gang is touched and changed.
