In 2009, a sixteen-year-old girl from Hunan, Wang Jiamei (played by Chunxia), followed her mother and sister, who remarried, to Hong Kong. In this new and unfamiliar environment, she feels out of place, and her relationship with her family gradually becomes strained. Aspiring to become a model, Jiamei enters the industry as an assistant, experiencing all the hardships and pleasures within the circle, ultimately selling her body to earn more money. Until one day, she meets Fatty Ding Zicong (played by Bai Zhi), who has a tragic childhood, and their fates start to shift towards tragedy.
