In sunny Sakai City, Osaka, the poorly reputed antique dealer Koike Tadayuki (portrayed by Nakai Kazuya) drives through the streets with his daughter Mari (portrayed by Morikawa Aoi). Following a twist of fate, he finds a household and discusses purchasing their family's antique collection. Among a pile of replicas, Koike unexpectedly discovers a rare dream piece gifted to someone by the tea ceremony master Sen no Rikyū before his death, which has no record in history. Overjoyed yet trying to contain his excitement, Koike prepares to seize the opportunity, only to fall into a trap set by the destitute potter Noda Saku (portrayed by Sasaki Kuranosuke). As fate would have it, these two somewhat similar men hit it off and decide to team up to fabricate Rikyū's ultimate treasure for profit.
