The film portrays four sad love stories in parallel narratives: boxing sparring partner Ha-seok (played by Cha Tae-hyun) is tired of his job as a human punching bag. By chance, he finds a new profession as a breakup agent. This job exposes him to numerous joys and sorrows, strengthening his love for his girlfriend Soo-hyun (played by Son Tae-young), but things don't go as planned; professional woman Joo-rong (played by Lim Jung-ah) neglects the care of her son Hwi-chan due to work pressure. After she is hospitalized due to a stomach illness, both mother and son feel the warmth of family during their exchanges; sign language broadcaster Soo-jin (played by Lim Soo-jung) and firefighter Jin-woo (played by Jung Woo-sung) are a couple. However, she does not like his dangerous job. When they finally decide to get married, they encounter a disaster...
