Former star Ai Qingqing (played by Miriam Yeung) marries a businessman named Li (played by Tony Leung), who is older than her, for love. As Qingqing ages, her husband mingles with many younger women. To save her marriage, Qingqing goes through great hardships to find Aunt Mei (played by Bai Ling), who makes dumplings with fetal filling, said to restore youth when eaten. At first, Qingqing is resistant but gradually becomes accustomed to it; however, her husband remains indifferent. She asks Aunt Mei to find a better and more effective product.
