Former star Ai Qingqing (played by Miriam Yeung) marries a businessman named Li (played by Tony Leung), who is older than her, for love. As Qingqing ages, her husband mingles with many younger women. To save her marriage, Qingqing goes through great hardships to find Aunt Mei (played by Bai Ling), who makes dumplings with fetal filling, said to restore youth when eaten.
