In the crisis-ridden investment world, Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) who runs Stratton Oakmont lives a lavish and powerful life. In 1987, 22-year-old Jordan joined Rothschild as a telephone operator, and under the guidance of senior broker Mark (Matthew McConaughey), he entered the drug- and desire-filled world of stockbroking. After six months, due to "Black Monday," Jordan switched to a small company selling "penny stocks," achieving success through his silver tongue. Together with his neighbor Donnie (Jonah Hill) and a group of friends, he established his own firm, profiting in the gray area and earning the title "Wolf of Wall Street," while the FBI had begun to take notice of him... This film is based on the autobiography "The Wolf of Wall Street" by former Wall Street stockbroker Jordan Belfort.
