The young and brave Viking warrior Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) tames an injured dragon and becomes friends with it. After five years, the lives of the residents of Berk have been completely infused with the presence of dragons. Berk is now a paradise where Vikings and dragons coexist peacefully. However, growing up means responsibility. To seek answers, Hiccup and his loyal dragon Toothless embark on an adventure, but the results are unexpected. On one hand, Hiccup discovers that the mysterious dragon rider is his long-lost mother, Valka (voiced by Cate Blanchett); on the other hand, the power-hungry Drago (voiced by Djimon Hounsou) allies with dragon hunter Eret (voiced by Kit Harington), threatening the peace between humans and dragons on Berk.
