A group of old friends is about to embark on a new journey. While the mammoth Manny is immersed in the joy of soon becoming a father, the saber-toothed tiger Diego feels melancholy over his gradual aging. Meanwhile, the sloth Sid discovers three dinosaur eggs and, overflowing with "motherly love," wants to become the mother of these three little tyrannosaurs, only to be captured by the real mother tyrannosaurus. In search of their companions, a group of lovable animal friends ventures into the "Jurassic Park" hidden beneath the Ice Age. In this magical place, they will meet new friends and encounter various dangers, all of which fills countless "Ice Age" fans with anticipation. This movie, as the first animated feature from 20th Century Fox to be released in mass 3D, had a production cost of $120 million, nearly double that of "Ice Age 1."
