Recently, a horrifying murder case has occurred in the city, with the exposure of a female corpse cut into six pieces and the murderer still at large causing panic in society. As a condition for his vacation, investigator Jang Min-ho (played by Sol Kyung-gu) has taken on this tricky case. He is a decisive man who teams up with the brilliant detective Min Seo-young (played by Han Hye-jin) to make rapid progress in their investigation, slowly uncovering the name of the suspect, Lee Seong-ho (played by Yoo Seung-ho). Once arrested, Lee Seong-ho confesses to his crimes, but Jang Min-ho discovers that things are not as simple as he claims. Just at this critical moment, Jang Min-ho's daughter suddenly goes missing, and he realizes this is definitely connected to Lee Seong-ho. Lee Seong-ho tells Jang Min-ho that to find out his daughter's whereabouts, he must play a puzzle game – solve the riddles he left on the corpse. A gamble for lives begins.
