Nick Robinson and Jason Clarke will star in the new crime film [Silk Road](Silk Road, working title). The film is directed by Tiller Russell (The Last Cowboy) and is based on David Kushner's article "Dead End on Silk Road" published in Rolling Stone. The article tells the story of hacker and drug dealer Ross Ulbricht, who ran a massive online black market. The film will focus on Ulbricht and the story between him and the drug enforcement agents determined to take down the young mastermind's $1 billion empire.
