A maid café called "SEASIDE" has opened on the shopping street of a small town. Unlike the popular maid cafés nowadays, this café is run by an elderly woman who knows nothing about maid culture; she simply thought, "I've heard maid cafés are quite profitable," and had her employees change into maid outfits, transforming an ordinary café into a maid café. At Taiga High School, Arashiyama Natsuki (voiced by Chikako Omekawa) is the number one maid at SEASIDE. Her classmate, Tatsuno Toshiko (voiced by Aoi Yuuki), has a crush on the frequent customer Sanada Hiroaki and thus becomes the number two maid at the café. Due to school rules prohibiting students from working without permission, their homeroom teacher, Mori Akihiko, comes to the café to stop them from working, but ultimately gives up and becomes a regular customer instead. One day, Natsuki runs into her upperclassman Kon Shuuha on the street, and they become friends. "Maid Café" is set in the small town where Natsuki lives, revolving around her and her friends, featuring many light-hearted and humorous little stories in this seemingly modest maid café...
