In the mythological world of "Tenwakuni," where countless gods live alongside humans, Arata becomes embroiled in a revolution initiated by the Twelve Divine Scabbards wielding the Sword God (Hayagami). Framed for the crime of killing the Secret Queen, he is engulfed into another world (the modern era) while escaping into the forest... Meanwhile, modern high school student Kakeru Hinohara, betrayed by his friends and lost in despair, stumbles into this other world. There, Kakeru inherits the fate of "Arata" and becomes the successor of the Sword God "Creation" (Tsukuyo). Due to the impending death of the Secret Queen, the seal of the Sword God has been lifted. Now, the wielders of the Scabbards engage in battles to become the Great King (Ookimi). Furthermore, among the Twelve Divine Scabbards, the enigmatic "Sixth Scabbard" begins to move to prevent the revival of the Secret Queen. Amidst this turmoil, Kakeru resolves to become the "Great King of the Sun Wheel" in order to save those caught in the fights and to rescue the Secret Queen. He continues his journey to unify all the Sword Gods with the power of "Creation" to end the conflict. A fantasy of another world where the modern and mythological realms intersect!!
