Detailed introduction

This film (drama)Also known as人間の約束,is aJapanProducerwomen sex,At1986Released in year 。The dialogue language isJapanese,Current Douban rating8.1(For reference only)。
Based on the novel "Old Family" by Junichi Sato, director Kijū Yoshida returns to the megaphone for the first time in eight years since "BIG1 Story: Sadaharu Oh" with this substantial social human drama. In a newly developed residential area of Tokyo, the bedridden elderly mother, Tatsu, dies, but traces of foul play are discovered. Tatsu's husband, Ryosaku, confesses to strangling her, but he is so senile that he loses control of his bladder in the interrogation room... Director Kijū Yoshida earnestly addresses the issue of senile dementia, which had become somewhat of a trend at the time, showing a reliable direction that makes the eight-year hiatus feel non-existent. Throughout the film, an image of transparent water is depicted, serving as a kind of refreshing element for this dark and heavy movie. The cinematography that takes advantage of the Japanese house illuminated by natural light is also noteworthy. The DVD is included in "Kijū Yoshida Complete Works [86-03] Water Reflecting Flames."
