A mysterious organization, GOD, targets Dr. Shingen Taro's ergonomic technology and forces him to join. The professor refuses and is attacked; his son, Shingen Keisuke, is also killed. The severely injured father, desperate to resurrect his son, disregards his own wounds and personally performs the modification surgery on him. After Keisuke awakens, he learns through a computer message that GOD plans to jeopardize the world, thus taking on the responsibility to fight evil and becoming the fifth Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider X.
